An eighth and final entry has now been received for the London Cup, an International Women’s Fastpitch Tournament to be hosted by BSUK from June 23-25 at Roundshaw Playing Fields in Croydon, site of last September’s A Nationals and Baseball Final 4. The tournament, now in its fourth year, will have its strongest-ever field in 2006, with three teams from Britain, four from Europe and one from the United States. The line-up will include five teams that have played in the tournament previously. They are --GB Women (Runners-up in 2003) --London Angels (3rd place in 2003/2004/2005) --Czech club team SK Joudrs (Winners in 2004) --Czech Under-19 National Team (4th place in 2004) --USA Athletes (Winners in 2005) The other three teams, all newcomers to the tournament, are: --Dridma Rivas (Madrid, Spain) --Evriali Glyfadas (Greece) --Heyford Diamonds (UK)
